....

About a minute or so had passed as she fumbled through her three hundred dollar purse, trying to find the keys she always tends to lose.
It doesn't help that tonight she fell victom to two glasses of red wine, and a slice of german chocolate cake, which happens to be one of her guilty pleasures.
She became overwhelmed with frustration, accompanied with the hope that she didn't carlessly leave them in the restaurant. She was parked a little less than a block away, yet she knew the walk back in those heels would kill her. She put her purse on the roof her car, leaned against the door, and cursed.
It was eleven thirty.
Then, at the very moment she remembered placing her keys in the pocket of her coat, she noticed a man no more than fifty feet from where she stood, smoking a cigarette. She felt a chill run down her neck after realizing the possibility that this man had been standing there, the entire time, watching.
After regaining her focus, she quickly opened her car door, locked it,settled in the driver seat, fastened her belt, and started the engine. She decided to look in the mans direction one more time before she pulled away. He had begun walking towards her car at a swift pace, and was about five seconds away from reaching her passenger door.
Terror rushed her heart, visions of newscasts about women being abducted clouded her her mind, and fear took over her body. She threw the car in drive and sped off as if she were in a high speed police chase, leaving the mysterious gentleman in the middle of the street.
She calmed herself down and slowed to the speed limit. He kneeld down and picked up the three hundred dollar purse she carelessly left on top of her car.
Two days later she received a package in the mail, and attached was a note that read: "Everything is all here. Well everything except the gum, big red is my favorite"
